This screen shows data from the traction control unit in real time. Note that this screen is automatically updated once the traction control unit is detected by the software - there is no need to start or stop datalogging.
Wheel speeds show the wheel speeds as read by the Traction Control module and the calculated front, rear, left, right and vehicle average speeds. The cornering, front, rear and vehicle speeds are calculated using the settings in Vehicle Setup and Slip Setup.
Inputs shows the position of the target slip switch, as well as the assigned target slip percentage corresponding to the switch position. The target slip and cornering parameters can be changed in Slip Setup.
Calculations shows the internal calculations of how the wheel slip and over slip are derived.
Drive slip is the difference in wheel speed of the driven vs undriven wheels.
Turning slip is the difference between the wheel speeds on the left side of the vehicle and the wheel speeds on the right side of the vehicle.
Turning slip adjustment is the adjustment made to the drive slip from cornering,
Adjusted slip is the drive slip adjusted by the turning slip.
Over slip is the difference between the target slip and drive slip. If the drive slip is less than the target slip then the over slip is zero.
Over slip smoothed is the over slip after smoothing has been applied.
PID terms shows the internal calculations used in the PID control algorithm.
P is the proportional control value and term.
I is the integral control value and term.
D is the derivative control value and term.
The sum of terms is also shown..
Outputs shows the ECU output voltage. |
