Traction Control Software

Software Integration

The traction control software exists in two forms - a standalone application and integrated into SManager, KManager or FlashProManager.   It is recommended to use the integrated version of the software.  Whichever version is used, care must be taken to ensure the software is up-to-date.

Live Data

Once the Traction Control module is plugged in live data will automatically be displayed without requiring datalogging to be explicitly started.  This can be verified by the Traction Control window caption showing 'Connected' and the Traction Control serial number.

Datalogging

The Traction Control module has 20 seconds of built in datalogging memory, but can also datalog continuously from a laptop running SManager, KManager or FlashProManager.  The on-board datalogging records every sensor at 100 Hz, which is faster than the laptop datalogging, so the use of on-board datalogging will give a higher resolution datalog recording.

On-board datalogs made on the Traction Control module may be downloaded to SManager, KManager or FlashProManager, but currently do not integrate into any other datalogs made at the same time.

Calibrations

Whenever the Traction Control module is plugged in the configuration from the Traction Control module is downloaded and shown in the Traction Control window.

If changes are made to the configuration then the menu 'Configuration -> Apply' command should be used to save changes to the Traction Control module.  This command is also available on the toolbar toolbar-apply

The configuration can also be loaded and saved from the Configuration menu.
