Units allows the speed unit (kph or mph) to be set.

Vehicle Setup

This contains parameters for how the Traction Control module uses the wheel speed sensors to determine the vehicle behavior.  Note that 'axle' refers to an imaginary axle in the front or rear of the vehicle which connects both front or both rear wheels. It does not necessarily refer to a physical axle.

Drive wheels are the wheels driven by the engine.  eg set to front for a front wheel drive vehicle.

Front axle speed determination is how the Traction Control module determines the speed of the front wheels.  It can average the speed of both wheels (recommended) or use the fastest or slowest wheel speed.

Rear axle speed determination is how the Traction Control module determines the speed of the rear wheels.  It can average the speed of both wheels (recommended) or use the fastest or slowest wheel speed.

Vehicle speed determination is how the Traction Control module determines the actual speed of the vehicle.  It can average the speed of the front and rear axles or use the front or rear axle alone.  It is recommended to set this to the un-driven axle.  eg rear for a front wheel drive vehicle.

Vehicles which lift an undriven wheel into the air during cornering should use 'fastest' for the axle speed determination on the undriven axle.  eg set Rear axle speed determination to 'Fastest' for a front wheel drive vehicle. Note that only track cars will need these settings changed from average of speeds.

Operation

This contains parameters affecting the traction control operation.

Minimum speed should be set above the speed at which the wheel speed sensors provide a reliable reading.  Generally a value of 3 mph / 5 kph is suitable.

Error Limits

The Max speed differential parameter is currently unused.
