This allows you to calculate the number of wheel speed sensor pules per unit distance based on the ABS sensor teeth and tire.
Note that the tire information is normally provided by the tire manufacturer as 'revs per mile' or similar. Calculating the revs per mile from the tire width, aspect ratio and size is not very accurate as the tire width and aspect ratio are often nominal figures.
