Wideband Input Settings

settings-widebandinput

This tab contains settings for the conversion of a wideband voltage input to lambda. Note that this is for display only - the ECU will use the primary o2 sensor for closed loop operation.

Lambda display selection - selects either the built in wideband (available on PRB/PRC/PRD/PND/PNF ECUs), an external wideband input via the ELD pin or an analog input (KPro-III only).

Quick select can use used to select the voltage/lambda conversions for some common lambda meters.

Voltage offset shifts the voltage/lambda conversion by the specified voltage in order to compensate for slight differences in voltage between the ECU and lambda meter.

The voltage/lambda conversion table is specific to each lambda meter. Details can usually be found in the lambda meter instruction manual.

Note that some wideband controller do not output enough current to the ELD pin to drive the voltage below about 2V.  In this case, remove the two resistors R300 and R301 on the top side of the ECU circuit board.
