Hi, I have downloaded the K manager software and have been having a lot of fun with it. However, Why can't I get the lean protection in the Base map for a 2000-2003 s2000 to work. I have went into options-settings-and wide band input then set up a plx sensor. When I return to lean protection I am blocked from using this. Is this feature not avalable for the 2000-2003 s2000 If not what are my options? The 2006-2006 base map lets me play with the lean protection. Any input would be great I am purchasing a K pro for my race car this week and need to learn as much as I can about it. Thanks

Lean protection can only be used with the RSX wideband.

So if i still want to run the plx wideband I should be able to tune with wideband capabilities and monitor my a/f on the plx gauge? Right now it probably wont be a problem. But next year I want to run nitrous in a fuel class, then a turbo the year after . A way to monitor a/f would be nice even if I don't have lean protection.

Yes you can input a wideband signal from a wideband controller into the ELD input on the ECU.

The plx is just used for tuning in open loop and dataloging? Or for closed loop operations as well? :?:

Because the 00-05 S2000 K-Pro uses a PRA calibration which is narrowband you can input the wideband signal to the ELD and the narrowband to the OEM primary O2 input and run closed loop from the PLX.
