Hi

I have a eu Civic type r ep3 K20A2 with PRA ecu.
Mods:

-Obx race header (dc copy)
-2.5 inch catback SRS
-Rbc intake manifold
-injen sri
-Kpro

Mapped 2 weeks ago by only hondata dealer here in Belguim.
It made:
236.7 @ the crank
Vtec @ 3800 rpm and rev limiter on 8800 rpm.

My question is would it be harmfull to set vtec crossover point to 4500 rpm without having to go back for a retune ? I personelly find that 3800rpm is to low.

Thanks in advance.

You should discuss this with the tuner, it all depends on the powerband.

It makes very good power @ 7500 rpm but above 8000 it seems to just die in 4 and 5th gear :( good for acceleration but not at higher speed.

The guy said it was with DC race header, buddyclub catback and aem cai.
