Testing PWM output

Post by jiztek »

Is there anyway to troubleshoot the PWM output on A11? I've datalogged and it shows that it attempts to raise boost but nothing. I was told somewhere a Greddy solenoid would work and it doesn't. Then I saw the gm is recommended but I don't have one I have a Subaru solenoid which is commonly replaced by a gm solenoid so I was hoping it would work and doesn't. I just wantto make sure it's because I'm using the wrong solenoid vs just not working. Mark @ turbotune installed it before he passed away so I'm sure everything was installed properly. Thanks

It could be any number of things. The GM solenoid is a normally open solenoid. We no offer a normally closed solenoid which is much safer to use.

Without the calibration and a datalog showing the problem it is very difficult to narrow down what the problem may be. You may want to take it to a Hondata dealer for some hands-on assistance.

So there is absolutely no way to test the circuit? I can't just follow the troubleshooting for EGR? or anything close to it? All the calibration and data log is going to show is that its configured properly, not that its outputting properly?
