Speed Signal Converter Box for the 05-06 RSX Type S

I have an 05 RSX Type S with K-Pro (#6949), Injen SRI, KManager V1-3-7.

My question: Will a speed signal converter (shown in the following links) solve the compatibility issue with the 05 RSX's high frequency speed sensor? They claim that a simple signal converter can solve the high frequency speed sensor issues, but I would like to hear what the experts (Hondata) think about this approach.
If it were this easy would not have Hondata incorporated a similar solution into its ecu conversion harness or somewhere inside the ecu??

Please let me know what you think (even in theory) about these products and if they may be able to solve the speed sensor signal issues for the 05 RSX Type S...

Thanks

In theory altering the speed signal will work. Your mileage may vary. The best way is to change the case and use the low frequency sensor - guaranteed to work, and no wiring changes involved.

Changing the case would be great, but it is way beyond my capability and budget.
Has Hondata experimented with similar speed signal altering devices (see previous post)? If so, how did they work out?
What do you think about the devices listed in the previous post? Do you think they will work? Have you heard anything about them?
If it is possibly to convert the signal, why hasn't Hondata done this??

HONDATA: Thanks for your previous reply, but can you please answer all of my questions...
Also, is Hondata continuing to work on resolving the speed sensor issues for the O5+ K-Pro??

Both of those converters work. They both require you to run a 12v signal to the speed sensor instead of the 5v signal coming from the ECU.

Hondata is converting the signal in its 5v state, which no one else does, for some reason this causes an issue and it drops out.

If you run the hybrid racing unit, then your speedometer will be off.

The dakota digital unit will allow you to set up your speedometer using GPS to get it pretty accurate.
