Idle does not catch when rolling to a stop

Post by Tnetics »

I changed to the S2 pro 1 cams and dialed in the AFR's for idle and needed to move the slider for the IACV all the way over and everything is good when I am stationary and free reving the motor the idle catchs fine, but when I begin driving and come to a rolling stop clutch pedal in the idle can not catch its self and stalls out, the problem is worse the longer the engine rpms is held constantly above idle speeds. I know the idle speed must be increase to help aid the idle and also increase vacuum at idle so the minimun idle speed is set at 1100 rpm. My question is their another table/tab where I can adjust when the IACV will begin to activate to allow the idle to catch. Also the tables under the idle tab idle speed vs. coolant temp both the stationary and moving has not been changed because I am unsure exactly what they do. Since I increase my minimun idle speed should I rescale these tables because the higher temps on the table my rpm is still 700-800.

Thanks

check your overrun cutoff settings in the TPS tab

make sure the TPS is reading 0 at idle if not just rescale it in the tps tab
