KNOCK SENSOR

Post by Govroom »

How important is the knock sensor? Have people been able to retain it with the S300?

As long as you use a ECU that has knock control, then it will work, and it works quite well as long as you don't have forged pistons.

forged pistons will have more slap in the bore and make noise like knock and be falsely detected as knock which will reduce the timing.
