Serial number of your K-Pro
6948

KManager version (not 'the latest')
1.3.5.4 (using this version for now because my tuner used this version to create my kal)

The calibration (as an attachment)

A datalog of a problem (as an attachment)

What sort of vehicle you have
05 S2000

What sort of ECU you are using
S2000 Kpro

Anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (don't include what sort of rims you have nor stereo etc).
Greddy Turbo Kit & I switched over all the sensors per the instructions including the optional IAT sensor

A specific description of the problem
The ECT gauge on the dash of the car always reads only 1 bar lit up.
The ECT temp seems to be correct when datalogging.
However it does seems to sample rather slowly. It will read the same exact temp for extended periods of time.

Is there a light on the adapter board portion of the K-Pro ECU? Describe the light's status.

Yes, when I switch the ignition on the light on the board flashes red for a split second then stays solidly lit green. When the car is running it is lit solid green as well.

On the adapter board there is only one LED and it is green.

I just double checked again to make sure & the light on the board is doing exactly what I descibed above. For sure the led flashes red for a sec & then stays lit solid green.

Could you elaborate on what you think is the problem?

Thanks,
Ed

You are looking at the K-Pro board. There is another board that is part of the built in adapter harness, please look at that. The LED is near the black connector on that board.

Thank you for the help, I was looking at the Kpro board that has the usb connector on it.

I don't think there is a led lit on the adapter board. I attached a pic with an area circled. Is that the area where I should be looking for the led? If so there is no led lit in that area.

Thanks,
Ed

I sent an email on Thursday, but have not received any response.

Thanks,
Ed

It was in the spam. Thank you.

Could you answer the question?
Is the area I circled in the photo where the led is located?

Thanks,
Ed

I got the Kpro back from warranty & installed it. Now it has the same problem, but it's intermittent now. Before it ALWAYS displayed only 1 bar & now it will display correctly at times & then drops down to 1 bar sometimes. It will usually go back to the correct reading after a while. If it drops to 1 bar & you turn the ignition off & then back to on it will read correctly.

I called support & they said it was possibly the sensor or wiring from the sensor to the ecu. So, I tested the voltage at the ecu (pin c26) from the sensor & it's working correctly. As the car warms up the voltage goes lower. I watched the dash & when the ect bars dropped to only 1 bar the voltage into the ecu was still reading correct, with no change in voltage from when it was working correctly.
It's not the sensor or wiring.

Also the adapter board light flashes on intermittently. What is the correct status of the light?

Thanks,
Ed

What do you mean when you say it flashes on intermittently? Describe exactly what the light is doing.
