I am not sure if this is the right forum, but here it goes.
I am having problems setting the cam change point with my Stage 2b. No matter what I set the cam change point to, using the static method, the cam change point is set to 4400 rpm, which is actually a very nice place for it.
However, I cannot understand why I cannot change it to 4200 rpm, etc.
Any ideas?
Also, when I push the button for thousands of revs (1=1000 rpm, 9=9000rpm), it always seems to add 1 flash.
For example,
1. turn ignition on without starting car
2. push interface button twice to select cam change point
3. CEL flashes twice pauses flashes twice etc., all is well
4. press brake to select thousands of revs
5. press interface button 3 times to select 3XXX rpm
6. CEL flashes 3 times pauses CEL flashes 4 times pauses CEL flashes 4 times etc., here is a problem
7. any ideas?
I have downloaded instructions on setting revs using the static method from the Hondata web-site. This is not the problem.
Perhaps I need to re-set the Hondata system by holding the interface button down for a few seconds, in order to reset it, and thus reset all rev settings to Hondata stock.
Also, since it is a Stage 2B system, and some rev options are disabled, how does this factor in? I mean, since I don't have the launch limiter, option 1, does this change the order of the user selectable options?
Thanks for any help.

well, I got it to work.
For some reason, when setting thousands of revs, my Hondata adds an extra flash. So, push the button 4 times for 4xxx rpm, and it does indeed set it to 4xxx rpm, it just flashes the CEL 5 times, which I thought it was only supposed to do for the hundreds of rpms.
But I have a Stage 2b system, so maybe that has something to do with it.
