Fuel Trim & tables

1. When you add OVERALL FUEL TRIM, does it change the FUEL MAP table?

2. Why would you use OVERALL FUEL TRIM and not just raise the entire fuel map??

3. If you use OVERALL FUEL TRIM and put 10%, then you check %DUTY CYCLE in the FUEL MAP table, does this reflect the added 10%?

4. How would you ZERO the overall fuel trim and have it refelcted in the fuel table?

5. My stock blueprinted P30 B16A race car FUEL MAP is at 102 %DUTY at 9000rpm in LOAD 10. I run the engine till 9500rpm sometimes in touring car race with no perceived problems. How is this possible? Am I doing harm to the injectors by running it at over 100%? I read HONDATA TECH about it but I just need comment if this is dangerous. I blueprinted the stock injectors and upgraded the fuel pump, fuel pressure @42psi.

Thanks!

1. No.
2. It is quicker and easier.
3. The amount of fuel deliverd will increase 10%. The duty cycle will increase but it will not be by 10%.
4. ?
5. Duty cycle, by definition, cannot exceed 100%. You will be running lean.
