Help D16Y8

Post by jiztek »

I have a built d16y8, sleeves, pistons, rods, 1000cc injectors, oversized valves, stage2 turbo cam, gt2871r ect. I've only been able to get the car running using a b18c base map, and then raising the fuel about 20% across the board. This just doesn't seem right, and I have been plagued by problems for the past 3 months(head gasket blown at 8psi twice, first time sleeve dropped, getting ready to disassamble again tomorrow). It's near impossible to tune(a/r's are very sporatic and if its cold out the engine runs so rich its not even funny actually changed the trims for air temp and coolant to 0 to get rid of the overly rich when cold scenario). Now my question is what could be causing this? and by chance maybe there is a base map that might be closer to what i need to get the car running properly? any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated

I would try getting smaller injectors around 450cc and see if that helps cuz 1000cc is way to large.
