Ohio echeck and s300 question

I live in a county of Ohio that requires a state echeck every 2 years. Their process is to check under the car for a cat, and then plug their equipment into the obd2 port. If that fails, they do a sniffer test. If I replace the ecu on my 2000 honda prelude with an s300 ecu, will the obd2 port work? Will it pass this echeck?

If I were to use the Hondata modified p28 with a built-in obd2a connector would the obd2 port work? Or, do I have to change out the ecu every 2 years to pass inspection?

HOndata systems will only work with an OBD1 ECU. You will loose all OBD2 functionality. Hondata systems are for off-road use only. The ECUs we sell with a built in adapter harness are still OBD1 ECUs.
