Post by ctrphil »

hello!
i have got a Euro CTR EP3 and a PRA ECU with K-Pro ... is it possible to read the Innovate LC-1 Wideband values in the K-Pro manager for A/F Tuning?

Yes, you can use the ELD input for a wideband signal. Go to Options, Settings and look at the Wideband tab.

can i just disonnect the ELD and connect the LC1 output to it ? Does the k-pro disable the ELD functionality ?

Yes the ELD must be disconnected from the ELD wire. You should not have to disable anything else.

You might get a voltage offset when you connect the wideband output to the ELD pin. If so, program the LC-1 to flatline set voltages to calibrate the expected output voltages to the actual voltage the ECU reads.

My conversion table looks like this:
Actual LC-1 voltage---o2 sensor voltage---AF Ratio
0---1.333---7.350
1---1.958---10.358
2---2.681---13.366
3---3.413---16.374
4---4.145---19.382
5---4.853---22.390
5.2---4.994---22.991

(the 5.2 one stops the value going nuts when taking the foot off the pedal)

I don't know if yours will be the same so you would be best to calibrate it yourself. Once done it works a treat. I used mine to fine tune the part throttle fuel tables and the car runs much smoother :-)
