SManager V1-4-2 [Updated 6-23-2009]

The main change is to fix the access violation when downloading or closing a recording.

Download here

V1.4.2 beta (9 June 2009)
- Fixed boost control duty pressure value conversion when reading old calibrations.
- Fixed nitrous3 maximum speed edit.
- Fixed access violation when closing a datalog recording.

V1.4.2 beta (12 June 2009)
- Added MAP fuel overrun cutoff

23 June 2009 - recompiled.

If you suffer jerkiness at very light throttle when the injectors cut off, try changing the MAP value to around 15 kPA. This only seems to affect some people, usually with high compression engines.

Because it is beta version 'check for updates' will not download the new version - you need to use the link above.

guys,
prob with the overrun fuel cut settings...

everytime i save a calibration in 1.4.2,the 8000rpm value goes to a 500rpm value, giving me some conflict & weird overrun stuff.

can u have a look at your end for me please
thanx

This was a problem with the beta version - thanks for pointing it out. It has been fixed. Re-download the beta software to get the new version.

wait,now im confused lol,
hondata,i redownloaded the above beta last night(i was actually infact on the first beta) to see if it had been fixed but still the same prob.
unless your saying spunkster that there will be another beta posted soon???

just fyi,
i think i was able to upload the correct values,it was just saving & reopening a cal in 1.4.2 that kept reverting the value back to 500 & if i forgot to check it,i ended up uploading the wrong value....
sorry,i just ran out of time to keep fiddling & testing last night,i'll try again tonight & see if its fixed...

I'm a little confuse as well. The units in Overrun Fuel Cutoff(MAP) is kPa or is it suppose to be inches? I can understand 19 inches of vacuum being a setting at 500-4000rpm. If not, how much is 19kPa in inches?

Change your map readout under sensors to KPA and you will have a better understanding of how this works

please change your MAP to kPa & tell the rest of the US to do the same once u realised how much easier metric is lol.

theoretical perfect vacuum = 0kPa
atmospheric = 100kPa(roughly at sea level)(amazing how it also equals 100% throttle for us NA guys)
stock idle = about 25kPa

no more thinking in reverse negative figures or figures that arent as easy to divide as 10,100,1000,etc....

also tell them that theres 1000metres in a kilometer & that water freezes at 0degC/boils at 100degC.......so much easier.......imagine how much faster the world would spin.....

dont worry,im just stirring.....as if its ever gonna happen......
