on my laptop (win xp) 1.4.1 seg faults at the end of completing the datalog "save as.."
the datalog file is created.
the error is either a null pointer access or invalid pointer access.
didn't have this error with 3.6, 3.7, or 3.8
if it matters, the map in the ecu was uploaded last from 1.3.8
anything you'd like me to try ?

Can you post a screen shot? Is this with an on-board datalog or a laptop recorded datalog? What type of laptop is this?

with the on-board data logging .. downloaded after track sessions
it's an old compaq presario r3000, happens on battery or plugged in.
might take a couple days for a screen shot .. but most of the time it's just a generic windows dialog box with "invalid pointer operation"

i got the same issue here.
i just assumed it was my feeble attempts to run smanager & AVG on the same pc.
dont worry, the AVG is getting canned as soon as i get spare time.

i dont know whether this helps at all & if its relevant to the topic but,
whenever i save a datalog, its saves the datalog but smanager justs quietly crashes & disappears.
whenever i try to close datalog,it throws one of these at me,
and then, any attempt to do anything else(except close smanager),it will keep spitting these at me,
just more AVG nonsense u reckon???
edit:sorry forgot to add, above is trying to close an onboard datalog.
if i close laptop datalog it says ".......address 00000073......."

Thank you - I believe that I found and fixed the problem.
For reference the screen shot below told me where to look:
I'll make up a release in the next week.
