Error Code 16 Injector with S300

Post by Renko »

My engine runs well when I'm using a OEM ECU. A soon as I conect the S300 I have the error code 16 (injectors) and the egine runs in idlee bad and verry lean. We checked all possible wirings and conectors. All are fine. The datalog runs not all the time.
The second thing is, that I' have ELD Voltage, but there is no wire on this pin. (In Europe is no ELD on B16/EG6). Is it possible that the ecu is gone because with the oem ecu runs almost finde? The wideband input (PLX ) is not similar with what I'm mesuring. Voltmeter shows 5.15 Volt (very lean) and hondata shows 3.8V. Thats strange. Any one can help me? The car was running more than one year perfect until we made new setup, because we installed a new header.

IF this is a P30-G0# or a P28-G0# then you must disable the injector error in the Misc section of paremteres.

It would be good to get this important informations in the manuals.

The third zylinder was running to lean, it was damaged because of that reasen.

In any reasons it the error code was disabled or not, the engine war runing bad in idle.

Why do I have ELD Volts, even there is no wire?

What happens if the J12 jumper isnt' cut?

Which data do I need to run after tuning with a OEM Lambda?

Thanks for ansering

The error code you reported has nothing to do with one cylinder running lean.

IF you have no ELD the input will float at a certain voltage since nothing is connected to it to pull it down.

It won't work if J12 is not cut...it is important to follow all instructions.

There is no OEM lambda you can use to tune by. You will have to use an aftermarket wideband sensor and controller. We only recommend using the PLX Devices wideband kits.
