At WOT on any N/A car I normally aim for a 13.2-13.5 A/F.

would the 13.2 AF apply to redline >9k rpm?

Sure, why not?

Thanks. Just worried that it might be a bit too lean for safety purposes.

13:1 here for K series
13.2:1 on B series

i find they like 13 flat. a tad rich is better for cooling effect. timing is where the power comes from and getting it right. too little , no power ; too much , no power gains and bigger chance of detonation.

Are you reving your K-Series over 9k?
What have you done to it to:
A) Make power that high?
B) To cope with the extra strains (on the top end)?

+1
I have 12.8-13.00 a/f > 7000rpm

hey im thinking about this too.
afr 13 at WOT until redline is the deal.
BUT why not 13 all over the map? (for example driving open loop)
is it 14,7 at lower map up to 13 at higher map just for eco driving?
what if i tune all the fuel maps to afr 13?
pros/cons?
what about ignition timing effect?
would that allover afr 13 work with the standard ign tables?
hmm thanks in advance!

On my B18C this is how I ran/run things;
14.7:1 columns 1-5
13.8:1 columns 6-8
12.8:1 columns 9-10
How does this fair with a K20a :?: Nobody seems to mention mid-load :?

I aim for 14.7afr columns 1-6 then column 7 14.1afr and columns 8-10 13.1afr
Its a hard one to call though, some times they seem to like a richer AFR at high load i.e 12.8 and abit more ign advance, for street tuning id go with the 13.1 and try get a consistent reading then if you can get it on the dyno add/subtract some fuel across the graph and see what it likes

The reason you wouldn't want 13afr at every load is 1. its not needed at low load 2. Fuel economy would suffer

Going too rich under light loads might cause it to misfire too - it's less dense, which makes it much more resistant to combustion (check out the default spark advance in those columns) - then throwing in the rich condition could cause a problem.
It's unlikely that only pushing it to 13 would be an issue, but I'd just be wary of that as well.
