tuning the K20A3

i was looking at the pics of the the K20A3 and then the K20A2 and i was wondering if your could disassemble the head of a K20A3, and on the exhaust side of the head somewhat mimic the intake side i.e two lifters (if thats what there called) on the exhaust side with a set of type s cams, or the k20a2 lifters on each side. thus giving you vtec on both cams instead of just one. and i know it would be easier to get a k20a2 motor but dont have the money for that. just curious on any input to the idea.
