set up my pwm on s300 and can not get it to control the boost, it just spikes no matter wether its set on normally open or closed and at 0 and 100% duty cycle for both settings
i have top port of wastegate going to #2 on the mac valve and #1 goes to vacuum reference
can someone help me here??
everything is installed correctly in the ecu also
and one wire goes to a11 and the other goes to switched power

has anyone else had this problem, or does everyone run the gm boost solenoid

Do you have it on A11 as Hondata lists it, or as Honda Lists it?

stupid question but where is the bottom port on the wastegate goin?

bottom port on the wastegate is going to a vacuum block, and the #1 is tapped into that same line, tried giving #1 off solenoid straight to the vacuum block and had same results
and yes it is connected to a11

Is this a Hondata boost control solenoid?

it is the mac valve:

It may be the wrong solenoid.
Try other settings rather than 0 and 100%. Try 10% as a starting point and start ramping it up from there

Basically it will start to cycle the solenoid around 15% duty then peak at around 50%, then it will drop off at any higher duty cycle.

anyone? i would hate to switch to a different management system just because i couldn't get the pwm to work

well decided to mess around a little bit, turns out the solenoid makes 100% boost at like 10% duty cycle normally closed, and makes wastegate aroud 50%
set it at 45% and boost went up 2lbs :), turned it to 40% and it went up another 2 or so from the 45%
just seems hondata doesn't have it setup so the frequency's are spread out, maybe it has something to do with their hertz/frequency for the software to control the solenoid
but anyways i figured it out and can finally get a tune and turn up the boost :)

Sounds like you have a normally open solenoid to me. otherwise decreasing duty would decrease boost.

try switching the options:
you have 2 options maximum boost at 0 % duty/normally open,
and maximum boost at 100% duty/normally closed.
I have the same solenoid, and I have to select normally open to get it to work when I am using boost by gear option or it will spike.
if thats not the probelm you have something hooked up wrong.

they are all the same solenoids so i dont see why one would be normally open and the other normally closed
that still doesn't explain the lack of adjustability, the window for the pwm is just too small as if the solenoid isn't what the program is intended for
