2008 honda element at- crv motor swap with mt?

Post by Grey_Box008 »

Would I use the k-pro for the 03-06 element and disable all of the vsa sensors to do this swap or what would be the easiest way to go about it? Thanks in advance

The car is a 2008 honda element. The motor is a k24a1 crv motor. My basic question is since the car has vsa and such like the tsx and 06 up si, am I going to have to use the tsx and s2000 k pro solution or will I be able to use the 03 to 06 element k pro. I will be swapping to a manual transmission and drive by cable tb since the motor is a complete longblock. I want tpo be able to retain all of the features(I dont mind not having the vsa) i.e. dash and the like. I dont want to have to go dual ecu!

What if I converted to a 03-06 wiring harness and crv k pro ecu for the 03-06 element? I am able to source all of the wiring harness, just not sure how the harnesses are different.

We do not offer anything that will work in an 08 ELement as they have drive by wire and the dash is operated from the ecu.

I am switching the tb to drive by cable already, And was trying to see if using k pro for the older element with the older harness, Or will I still not be able to retain the functions of the dash?
