Full throttle shift, micro switch setting,

Ill try keep it as simple as i can.

I have read numerous posts on here about questions on how to get it working 100%

Basically you need to tell te ECU when the clutch is pressed in, For example putting a switch under your clutch pedal, so that when you press it you activate the switch to either send or cut 12v to one of the ECU pinouts specified in the parameters clutch switch drop down section,

So say i want to use E22 brake switch (12v on)

I wire my micro switch so that when my clutch is pressed it activates my micro switch allowing 12v to go to E22, this tells the ECU that the clutch is pressed in,

So when the car in stationary the setting for launch control will be used say 3500rpm,

Or When the car is moving (above 3mph) the full throttle shift setting will be used.

Does that sound right???

Now for the fuel igntion rpm and shift rpm limiter.

Ill start with the rpm shift limiter,

From watching my rev clock, when i shift at 8500rpm my rev falls back to 7000rpm, so simply set my rpm limiter to 7000rpm,

This in turn tells me that my fuel & ignition rpm should be set bellow my shift limit of 7000rpm, so i could set that at 6000rpm and it should work?

Is that correct?

Or am i missing something?

Hope this explains alot for other people as i was reading for a while trying to get my head around it. lol

Bump for answers... I want to hook up the full throttle shift feature in KPro. Where can we find tech info on how to do this?

So unless i have a standard clutch switch ill have to hard wire one in, and use one of the options given in the parameters in kmanager?

For example wire the clutch swith into E22 brake switch 12v on?

OK, I found it now... It turns out I needed to install the lastest version of KManager to find it. OOPS

Last question, for an all stock engine setup (K20-tuned cal.) is it recommended to use the fuel and ignition retard feature with the full throttle shift?

Use of the Ignition and fuel settings is done as needed, depending on what you are using it for and what your goal is.

Please read the information in the link I previously posted.
