newbie!! wideband question..

wassup people, I just bought a brand new ob2b s300 bundle and its sick.. anyways, I got a question about the PLX R-500 wideband, is this unit a good one? because theres a guy here who says he'll sell me his used one for $200. Now, I dont really know how much they cost brand new but I do have friends that run the innovative LC-1 wideband which is a pretty nice piece. Should I just go with the PLX or just go with another brand. Did anyone mess with the PLX R-500 looks like a piggyback controller. I dont know.. but let me know thanks Brian

i just bought a PLX DM-5 for $230 new. i do believe the R-500 is an old model and are discontinued. I like PLX.

I also got the new SM-AFR with the DM-5 gauge. for 230 as well. I use to have the Innovated LC1 and I consider this an upgrade. it also one of the only gauges that hondada supports.

So the PLX R-500 is a bad choice to go with since its an older model? I should go with something new right..

No not saying its a bad model but for a used wideband being $200 and a new one $230 i would pay an extra $30 or talk the guy down.
