Anyone got a map for an H22a-R? SManager, S300,
Its a red-top, high compression, bigger cam version of the H22a with a single runner manifold like a b18c-R and a unique head. Not to be confused with the type-S which is different again.
I've tried a black top H22a program and it ran like shit.
Anyone?

Sway intake to a a USDM then come back
EURO R is now what you want, short eunner is cool and all but volume makes power.
GET RID OF THAT TRASH

Well for one you need to proof read your posts so you don't write nonsense.
And secondly what is so USDM about a dual runner manifold, every other market has them as well.
Just because it's called a Euro-R doesn't mean it's from Europe.
Get a clue and get some manners.
It's naturally aspirated so volume is less important than with yours.

[abusive post deleted] Jeremy - I've given enough final warnings. I doubt this will be the first, nor last, time you are banned from a forum.

Thanks, is that just using the stock H22a map from the archive with adjustment?
What was your air/fuel curve like?
When you say change injectors do you mean physically change them or just change the injector size in SManager?, I'm guessing the latter.

Later. Change injector size in Smanager. My a/f curve is shot all to hell until i get my car tuned but it runs well right now. O2 Sensor is fried so i have to get a new one. Change overall fuel trim using calc function. Mine is 310 injectors -31 overall fuel trim. based off h22a base map that has 450 injectors.

@h22acivichatch: if i had a H22A-EuroR engine and would use your sollution... will you pay me a new engine if it blows?? :? surely not.
@doo0T!doo0T!: get it tuned propperly. with that you will archieve he best solution and won't risk a blown engine.

luke well no i won't pay for your motor.
doot this is the set up i've been using for about 4 months, because i can't afford to get the car tuned. it is running a little rich at the moment but until i get a wideband put in the car and wired to the s300 im not worried. Plus everything in this forum is use at your own risk. I'll even post you a datalog of my set up and the calibration if your interested.

Thats ok, any ecu tuning is at your own risk.
i think thats enough to get me started anyway, my brother has a wideband I can borrow I think I'll just start with your set-up and road tune it myself while he drives.
I'm also going to try a 2001 ITR tune and play around with overall fuel trim and see how that compares.
I'm going to take it to a dyno but I'd rather turn up with a decent base than having them start from scratch, been there done that, I took my crx turbo in with no tune at all and it cost me $780 in dyno time.

take care of the rev limits with the H22.
i think you shouldn't rev it so high like an ITR, as you want to use the ITR map as base.

^^ Yes definately.
having had one to pieces i can see now why they shouldn't be revved over the stock limit. They're big and heavy thats for damn sure.

ITR timing map is going to be way different. I had tried a GSR map on my stock h22 and it ran horrible.
