i have heard from a very reputable source (im not naming) that has done it. they arent staged, they are basically both spraying at the same time.
and when it is time for me to step up in turbo, i will be doing the same.
8 ID 1000s wires in parallel.
THIS IS NOT STAGED INJECTION. this is both firing with the same pulsewidth.

The factory injector drivers need a cooling fan or they will over heat when wired in parallel. Also, this would be for a drag only car....not something you would drive around on the street.
Raver motorsports can modify the ecu board to add another set of factory injector drivers. The secondary set of injectors turns on with vtec. Works really well and is street friendly.

I have multiple drag cars running 8 of the Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors in parallel, with cooling of the injector drivers.. No issues yet, but I will put a thermocouple on the drivers next week and see how hot they really get.. These injectors work well..
