S300 setting questions.

Guys,
I've tuned my S300 and everything was fine when I drove out from the tuning shop. I found out a few problems the next day.
1) The car idle very high during cold start. It raises to ~2600rpm. It does minor knocking until the rpm drops. THe idle drops to ~1000rpm after complete warm up. When I re-start the engine on the same day, the car idles ~2400rpm and it slowly drop down to ~1000rpm without knocking. Is there a way to drop the idling rpm?
2) When I turn on the headlight the idle raise up additional 500rpm or so. It won't drop down until I turn off the headlight AND the parking light/side marker light.
3) I have a Jackson Racing supercharger, can someone show me how to change the VTec kicks-in setting when it reach 2500rpm AND 1psi? My current setup is 3000rpm AND 50% throttle.
Here is what I have on the car. This is an OEM D16Z6 engine with Jackson Racing supercharger, 8psi pulley, K&N drop-in filter, GReddy 4-2-1 header, 2.5 inch hi-flow cat with a Apexi WS2 exhaust and Sun Hyper Voltage System GT, 550cc injectors and Hondata S300.
Can someone show me how to make adjustment for the above? I hope this is a simple fix so that I don't have to drive a long way back to the shop and I don't even know if they will charge me for the above fix. Thanks.

Can you give me a pointer? I know the help menu talks about the high idle issue a bit. However, I do not see anywhere tells me what to set. Did I overlook somewhere?

Go to the Idle tab and start making changes as you see fit.
Go to the VTEC tab and you can make your adjustments there as you see fit.
You should follow the factory service manual for setting the idle as I believe once you do that the idle raising when you turn on the lights will also be corrected.

My min. idle setting is set to 900rpm. The highest rpm setting is 1602rpm when the coolant is -40F. That's why I wonder if there are other settings or I am missing something. I've gone through the parameter menu. Maybe you can give me more in depth idea behind the functions?
For the VTec setting, I just want to clarified that if the manifold pressure is actually refering to boost in this case? If i set the lower and upper boundary to the same rpm, the pressure value in upper boundary becomes uselss? Or, I need to set a max limit?

I actually fixed the high idling issue when I turn on the headlight. I actually adjust the idle valve.
However, I couldn't figure out how to lower the rpm during cold start. When I start my engine during early morning, the rpm goes up to 2500rpm and it knocks. The knocks go away when it drops below 2400rpm. I've set the cranking fuel trim ( under fuel trim tab) to 10%. The knocking sound is reduced but it still there. Can someone tell me what is the max. % that I should not exceed?
Also, can someone shine some light about the VTec setting from the above post that I had? Thanks in advance :)

Have you followed the idle setting instructions in the factory service manual?
Manifold pressure can be boost or vacuum, depending on what you specify.

Thanks for your support. I assumed that I shoud not touch any mechanical setting when I install the S300. Since you keep refering to service manual, I would just follow the procedure completely tonite.
As for the VTec setting, wehre do I specify the manifold pressure to boost or vaccum?

Have you looked at the VTEC tab in Parameters?

Yes. However, there is nohwere to specify the setting. The only selection is measurement unit.
I wonder if there is a write up for newbie of this product?

Thank you for the link. I've actually read through the help menu ( I bet its the same as your link?). Let say I want to modified my current setting so that VTec kicks in @ 2500rpm when the boost hts 1psi. Can you give me a step by step procedure?
I think the only problem about the help menu is that it does not tell a user what to do, especially to a newbie of this product.

A 2500 rpm VTEC point may be too low for sufficient oil pressure - it would be best to check what the oil pressure drops to if you switch at 2500 rpm.
To set the VTEC point to 2500 rpm / 1 psi:
1. Set the 'lower boundary rpm' to 2500.
2. Switch the pressure units to psi.
3. Set the 'lower boundary pressure' to 1.
4. The 'upper boundary' can stay at 5000-6000 rpm and -3 to -4 psi.

Thank you for your reply. Would VTec @ 2500rpm too low? According to Jackson Racing web site, that's what their setting is. Check this out.
