car starts and idles like normal for about 5-10 seconds and dies and backfires.

you need a wideband O2 sensor dude. having Kpro or Smanager without a wideband , is like having a woman with no tits , lol. just plain dont make sense , haha.

Your engine is not pulling very much vacuum and that could be casuing it to run way too rich. First step would be to figure out why the vacuum reading is so low.
