I own a turbocharged European Civic Type R with a PRA ECU and KPRO.
I’m using boost vs rpm vs gear to control the torque of my motor and reduce wheelspin during hard accelerations. This feature works quite well, but of course I cannot decrease the boost to a value lower than the wastegate spring.
In order to run lower boost in low gears I would like to use an external pressure source to control the wastegate . I’m thinking to use the nitrous control output to command a solenoid and then the wastegate open/close.
It would be nice if I could have the nitrous control output on/off depending also on gears (besides rpm, throttle, load, speed and knock). Do you think this feature is going to be add in the future?

What is the wastegate spring value? We've found that we can use a 7 lb spring to well over 30 lbs if the pressure source is taken from the correct location.

My “street” configuration:
GT35R T4 twin scroll, DBB
True equal length twin scroll dual gated turbo manifold
2 Tial 38mm wastegate, 7 lb spring
RBC intake manifold
750 hp vertical flow intercooler
CR = 10:1
LSD
235/40 R18 tires

The motor is very well tuned and responsive and I’m not reporting boost spike or creep issues from 7 to 20 psi (maximum boost with 98 octane gas). The gear ratios are a bit shorter (6 speed with FR=4.73) and in 1st and 2nd gear I’m running 7psi of boost but with street tires there is no traction during hard accelerations.

If it was possible to have an output like nitrous but depending also on gears, I would control the wastegates with an external pressure source (eg: a small air compressor or CO2) or I would temporarily pull off some degree of timing in the lower gears in order to decrease the torque. What do you think? Can this be possible?
