idle problem

honda fit 2005 with k20a swap
rbc manifold
k-pro
where can i check for the serial number of the kpro? :)

hi im new to everything :D having problems with idle, once i strat the car it goes up to 2000 rpm after it gets hot my idle goes up and down from 1000 to 2500 rpm sometimes to 3000 rpm.. i already cleaned the iacv, already talked with a tuner about the problem but still won't work and i also tried to lower down the ignition timing from column 1-5 to 15-20 from 750 to 1500 rpm. which i read posted by the admin HONDATA ( surging idle) what else can i do to fix the problem. thank you

You need to check for vaccum leaks and or clean your IACV.

id say vacuum leak as well. if it was the IACV , it would throw idle control malfunction code.

ok thanks for the great info, i'll try to do it again and check if theres leak in the intake... have a datalog which ill attach. thanks again
