TPS question for the enthusiast!

Post by mnjdmek4 »

does anyone know if we can calibrate a non honda tps to work? for instance, different resistance or voltage range for a tps that may not read the same for an stock one?

It calibrates by pressing a macro throttle closed, and a seperate macro for throttle 100% open, and records the voltage each time. I see no reason why it wouldn't work fine, aside from a resistance problem.
thank you, thank you, I'm here all week

More than likely it will not work properly. The adjustment function in the software is for use with a Honda sensor that is very slightly misalligned.
