Separate idle speed for A/C on

I am running an S300 on a B20A engine.

Looking at the SManager software there doesnt seem to be a separate idle speed function for having the air conditioner on.

With the A/C on the engine boggs down serverely from idle when trying to move off.
Base idle RPM is set at 900.
The engine has a steady idle with and without the A/C at the setpoint.

Ideally id like to set the base idle at 900 and then say 1000 or 1100 when the A/C is on.

Can this be done?

If the idle speed is ok with the AC on, then the problem is more likely to be fuel (AC on runs a little richer) or ignition at very low rpm. Can you post a datalog and your calibration?

I'll take a datalog and post it via PM if I can.

It could well be running slightly rich at idle. Good point..
I need to hook up my wideband and find out.

Just to clarify though.
Is there a separate idle speed function available for A/C on the S300?

Any chance of dropping this function on the next update. :D

Please read my comments in this post again. The problem is not the idle speed, but probably the fuel settings. If you provide a datalog and calibration it will greatly assist us in helping you. Adding a new parameter to fix a symptom will not.

Cheers guys, obviously fixing a symptom is not an ideal solution.

I have datalogged this but cannot replicate the problem. It seems dependant on ambient temps. Last time it occurred the outside temps were in the 40 deg C range. For the most part it seems to behave itself. I'll try again when it heats up and see how that compares to the current log.

No point posting data were its all working right ..

A bit of additional info. The car has an 8lb flywheel and compression is around the 8.5:1 mark running N/A. This is the reason I had assumed the A/C load was causing the bogging down from a standing start.
The reason behind the idle speed suggestion was to raise the inertia of the rotating mass under a/c load therefore assisting launch.
