Boost cut question.

Just wondering what exactly the boost cut does, does cut spark, or turn off the fuel pump or injectors?
Wouldnt it be a little worrying if you were boosting 20psi with the boost cut set at 21psi or more, and then all of a sudden your fuel got turned off??
Wouldnt it be safer to cut back spark instead of fuel?

This has been covered several times already, but it's been a while, so:

1) The boost cut is a fuel cut
2) Yes, a spark cut would be safer
3) No, you won't see Hondata implement a spark cut instead of a fuel cut
