Long story short. I bought this car used with the Kpro. Orig. owner used a cal from this older ver Kmanag. He doesn't have a copy, but told me it was prolly k20a2 tuned stock, maybe? He can't recall. I've been doing alot of research and have watched the videos that I can d/l. I'm wanting to datalog, but can't. When I plug the usb to the laptop with Kmanag. I hear the connection. I hit f10 or F11 can't member :? and a box pops up with the following message..

The calibration in the ECU (1.2.1.6.) is fron an older version of K-manager. Please upgrade the ECU calibration before datalogging from this ECU.

Then I click ok. I do have link between laptop and ECU w/car on and not running as verified on bottom left of page and can watch the sensor displays with the car running using the latest version of Kmanager. Car doesn't have any issues and runs good.
My questions are.

How do I upgrade the ECU calibration before datalogging from this ECU.? I don't have copy of the old one.
Clear the old cal and upload new?
Which one will work best with mods in my sig?
K20A2 rsx-s stock kal?
K20A2 rsx-s stock tune kal?

ECU info

Harware ver. 1.0
Ser. #01981
Firmware 1.0
Software ver. 1.2.1.6.

You must upload the calibration to the ECU using the latest version of the software.

Yes, I understand that, but I don't have a copy of "the ECU calibration".

Should I just upload a new one?

Which one best suits my setup?

Is there a way to just upload the software to the ECU?

Srry bout all the noob questions.

You can try downloading (Online, Tools, Download) the calibration from the ECU, save it and then reupload it, but this may or may not work. If it does not you can go to File, New and load a new calibration and upload it to the ecu.

Ok. I will try that. I have one last dumb question.

Can I upload a K20A2 RSX-S (prb) cal to my EP3 Civic SI with K20A2/6spd swap?
All the Civic SI PNF cals are for a K20A3.

Thanx

Yes you can, but you will not have reverse lockout if it is a PNF ecu.
