Kmanager 1.3.4.0 - New Calibrations

Post by Slip_Angle »

What are the differences between the original k24-tsx-stock and the newly added tsx-04-05-stock?

I noticed there is a big difference in the temperature compensation settings and the new tsx-04-05-stock has it off for low-medium load. Why is that?

The original k24-tsx-stock also has a hard set vtec of 4600 while the new one is a boundary between 5100-5000rpm.

Just curious as to why all the changes. Is this a more finely tuned version?

Thank-you.

The tsx-04-05 calibration is for the dual adapter harness. The k24-tsx-stock calibration is actually a very early version of a similar dual adapter type setup, which never made it to production.

Is this calibration fine to use for us regular Kpro users (no dual adapter)? Is it "better" or more finely tuned than the k24-tsx-stock?

Would you mind answering my other questions in the first post?

Thanks much!

The tsx-04-05 is the best (most well tuned) calibration. It should be possible to use that in a non-dual adapter configuration if you uncheck the countershaft driven speed sensor.
The differences in air temp compensation won't really make any difference.
A VTEC of 4600 rpm would imply a non-stock exhaust system.

Good stuff, thanks for the reply. I will give this calibration a try.
