newbie- am i running safe
hi guys ,,,
right i have just bought a hondata kpro.. prb. for my 2004 dc5, so today i wacked on some of my mods and the kpro...
list so far...
j's racing 70 rr
spoon 4-2
spoon throtle body
rbc inlet manifod
the gruppe m will not be going on till wednesday as i have not got the modded scutle for.. so my qestions are is my car safe for the calibration i have uploaded to it.. i just want a safe mao at the mo, as its going in on sat to be tuned by someone who has a dyno and knows what they are doing.
i got a calibration off someone who has the same mods as me, however i have not stuck the gruppe m on yet, so i guess i will be running rich, which is better then runing lean correct?
i have done some datalogin-
3rd gear full woot and
a 15 min run normal driving.
i will upload the data loggin after this post, any help / advice would be much apreciated.. thanks

what does parameters have to do with it? i know your hyper about this stuff , but you shouldnt give advice on what your not sure of bran. specially when theres 5000 dollar engines involved.mcneil wrote:11.43 is very rich for an All motor car. but will be fine till you get it tuned. just dont beat on the car.
also, post up your fuel map so we can see your parameters
what calibration are you using?

wait till you throw your header on , it will lean out what you have there at least a little. than come back and post a 30 minute datalog in open loop , keep an eye on knock and of course lean conditions. in this datalog , vary driving conditions as much as possible without using full throttle. BUT. somewheres in this datalog , sqeak in a 3rd gear pull from 2500-redline. any questions?
