I already bought and installed the Wells Stoplight Switch, Autozone part JA413, where the Cruise Ctrl Clutch Switch used to be (bottom position).

Now I'm just trying to select the proper switch input in the KManager to finally get FTS and Launch Control Working.

There is not a 'Cruise Control' selectable input from the Input drop-down menu.

I forget exactly what (because I'm at work), but it looks like E22, E19, E29? are the selectable inputs, with the names like Brake Switch, Alternate, and something else.

Does anyone know the proper input to select for where I placed the new clutch switch? (since all selections start with an E-then some number, the correct E-# input for my switch's current position would be much appreciated)

Whatever input you select, that is the input you need to wire it into.

So the original wires that went to the old cruise control switch (where the new switch is in now) cannot be used?

I was able to just plug it straight in.

I ask because I have no experience wiring/ finding wires; so I'd like to get this done with the minimal complications.

It actually didn't hook directly in... the prong connectors on the JA413 switch were bigger than the original connector...

I need to find a wiring diagram/ resource now.

Any suggestions on where to start?

Can I find a connector at Autozone to fit the Wells Switch, then cut the wires from the brake switch (since it's one of the useable inputs) and then connect those wires for the Wells Switch?

What exactly does that brake switch do/ or control? would it be bad to try this idea?

You must run your own wires from the switch to the ecu. How you wire it depends on what inpout you use. If it is a ground switched input then one wire goes to ground the other to the input. If it is a 12V input then one wire goes to 12V and the other to the input.

Btw, I'm perfectly fine with putting some new wires using your directions (since I understand what you're saying to do), but I was just wondering,

Can I just splice the brake switch wires to power the Wells Switch?

I found this 3m Scotchlok Auto-Tap thing, and a female plug @ autozone.com which should fit the wells plug.

Would this idea work?

Don't ever use scotchloks as they will just give you problems.

The only way to join any wires is soldered with heat shrink. Scotchloks, butt connectors, spade connectors and the like should not be used.
