Hi Hondata,
I think I used to have a username on this board, but it may have been lost somewhere...oh well...I'm back.
I'm a representative of the often overlooked 7th generation accord community...yes you've heard from us before. One of our people (Cstyleaccord) designed a conversion harness like yours to run a dual ECU setup for K series 7th generation accords and I wanted to get some information on your harness. We've been able to make Kpro work with our vehicles and we're quite happy with the results. The individual making our harnesses may or may not be producing them in the future and I'd like to again raise the issue of taking us under your wing. We've sort of received the "run around" in the matter because our ECU's 'like the TSX' are not Kpro-able.
I currently own a Kpro ECU and a conversion harness. I've had my car on Kpro for approximately a half hour while evaluating your included K24a4 basemap. Finding that it ran too rich I decided to evaluate a new basemap. I loaned my Kpro to Cstyle for him to test his harnesses and he's also evaluating that basemap for me.
I work for Acura and have a working knowledge of how K engines operate, so I'm by no means just some guy off the street. I wanted to know if you would consider working with us to release a modified version of your TSX harness. I understand it's not as simple as I make it out to be, but there shouldn't be a whole lot of difference between the Accord and TSX conversion harness....of course, older 7th gens do not use ETC and VSA, but I cannot think of many more differences than that.
We're excited to see work being done with other K series apps and would like to get in on the action!
Specifics on TSX dual ECU setup
Re: Specifics on TSX dual ECU setup
In the short term, we need to get this product launched as there is a fair amount of work involved.Skippy wrote:
