so with the release of the 06+ K-pro's, it got me wondering. As far as K-pro goes, between 00-05 Kpros and 06+ are they the same? If im understanding this correctly, the only difference is in the harness?

oops, forgot to mention it is for S2000's
reason is, i bought an s2000 with an inlinepro setup and was tuned on Kpro. but some thieves stole the K-pro, previous owner saved the tune however. and im wondering the approach on getting a new K-pro. There's an 06+ one for sale in working condition that im thinking about.

also, if a RSX-PRB does not have datalogging feature, can it be added?

The ECU for the 06+ is very different than the 00-05. The ECU connectors for the 00-05 K-Pro have been completely changed.

My understanding is that the 00-05 has a return line fuel system with a 1:1 stock fuel pressure regulator and that the 06 + is a deadhead. If that is the case, you can start out with the previous tune, but you will need to add fuel under boost and remove fuel at vacuum. Everything else should work the same (ignition vtec etc).

Let us know the serial number of your stolen system and we will note it in our database should it ever cross our desk.

serial numbers 4951. I bought the car from the previous owner, he speaks very highly of hondata products btw.

ECU possibility?

Doug or anyone, previously I had a KPro in my DC5R in Japan and when the board fried, I picked up 2 additional stock DC5R ECUs to use while my ECU was repaired. 1 of them I didn't realize was for the newer DC5R and the seller wouldn't let me return it. What I found out from somebody that it will work for KPro, but it wouldn't be able to use the nitrous features. That is something I could honestly care less about as I will never ever have nitrous in any car I own. So my question, if this is the case, would the ECU be able to be used for KPro in my Snisen? Really would be great if the answer is yes as I have already lost $400 on this thing and my old DC5R KPro resides with a friend when he purchased my car when I moved from Japan.

nisen=2000 in Japanese :D

The ECU I have in my possession is PRC-J01. On the page listed it states the PRC and PRD has fewer nitrous outputs and fewer emission controls and it is listed under compatible ECUs. So does this mean the ECU would be a GO?

On a side note, I currently have the reflash on the stock ECU, is this program going to be made available as a starting point within the calibrations? And I just was checking the program and noticed that the S2000's gear compensation under ratios has the 04-07 fd listed as 4.953, is it supposed to be this way? Just wondering since it actually comes with a 4.1 fd. And if later on I swap my fd, do I just need to do some simple math to come up with what it should be if by chance I go with say a 4.4 or 4.7 fd? And one last question, sorry, but looking at the tables under the cam angles, why are there angles in there since the F20/22 doesn't have an adjustable intake cam like the K20? I notice you can't change the actual cam degree on the S2000 cal, but you can within the table itself.

You may edit the cam angles, but that would be a waste of time as the S2000 has no VTC. Leave the cam angles at zero.

For the gear compensations, just type in what you have for your gearbox and final drive.

We would not list the PRC unless you could use it. You will only be able to run two stages of nitrous with this ECU and not four.

oh and i was wondering, whats the turn around time to convert a PRB-Kpro to an s2000 k-pro. (from an already K-pro'd ecu to an s2000-k-pro'd)

Same as a K-Pro...2-3 days.

Very much appreciated for the answer. As stated earlier, the nitrous portion I could really care less about. :) Not trying to set any Bonneville speed records

Looks like you will be seeing my ECU again this coming June and the 5R ECU with it.

One question that wasn't answered, will the flash data be made available as a .kal file for those of us who already have the flash and want to use that as our starting point? I have really enjoyed the car since the Toda reflash and would not want to go backwards and work my way up to and hopefully beyond it.

so even if an authorized hondata dealer (Blacktrax in Milpitas) is fairly local, they won't be able to do it in time? was hoping to make it to a meet on the 20th.

Blaxtrax already is using the system. I suggest you contact them ASAP.

The latest version of K-Manager 1.3.4.0 includes a Toda header calibration.
