Missing at very light throttle

Post by Carma »

This car is having problems at very light throttle(under 10%), under 3000 rpms and thats the only place this happens. You can see it in the log and watch it happen live. The injectors are shutting off and coming back on. I've tried several different things but have had no luck so I thought I'd try posting a datalog of while its happening on here to see if anyone has some input.

Type S K20 swapped into a 99 Civic Ex
HKS turbo kit
440cc injectors

Everywhere else the car runs fine, its just cutting the injectors off at random for some strange reason. Thanks for taking a look.

Under advanced set the overrun cutoff to 18 for the low cam. Switch on closed loop.

Can you post the datalog as a .kdl?

Already tried messing with the overrun stuff, no success. I'm not on the computer with that file on it but will be shortly and can post that then.

if the value was less means the shorter time cut off?
how about high cam rev?

I've been trying all sorts of stuff to see if I can track down what exactly is causing this problem. Nothing is working. Here is another datalog and another map that I've tried. It does it with both .kal files.

haha , id say thats a problem spunkster. maybe he just needs to adjust it to .5 volts at idle , 4.5 at wot. might clean it up a ittle. after that he can read from it and set min and max. or maybe he can just set min and max and fix that idk. id set it at the sensor first if it was me.

Thats because I was on the throttle 6% at that point... You think the car is gonna run at ~3000rpms/40kpa in 4th gear with the throttle closed? TPS reads zero when you're not on the gas.

With the key on but the engine not running what does the TPS read with your foot off the gas? What does it read with the gas pedal all the way on the floor?

Exactly as it should... 0 off the gas and 100 when its to the floor.
