Stock FPR and Fuel pump?

Post by jbbauer »

I'm about to use the S200 ECU with the 8lb pulley JRSC Civic SI setup (and RC440 injectors). Do I need an aftermarket FPR and fuel pump OR are the stock components OK?

thanks, I'm getting the Walbro 255lph fuel pump. Hondata recommends a 1:1 fuel pressure regulator (not a rising rate regulator) not really sure what this means but can you recommend a FPR?

u should be running fine with both the stock fpr and stock fuel pump, @ 40 psi fuel pressure, the stock si fuel pump will handle 300+ horses. if u really want to upgrade something in order to be a bit safer, u can just go with the upgraded fuel pump. u should be fine running the stock fpr. i used the same set up and got

thanks, I ended up sticking with the stock FPR and upgraded the fuel pump to Walbro255lph. I did this because a Mossmotors (aka JR) rep said the FPR was fine. And since JR offers a fuel pump upgrade I figured they might do so for a reason, but theirs was only a 190lph fuel pump at the same cost as the 255lph

Anywise thanks for the help
