Stock FPR and Fuel pump?

Post by jbbauer »

I'm about to use the S200 ECU with the 8lb pulley JRSC Civic SI setup. Do I need an aftermarket FPR and fuel pump to go with the RC440's?

you can use an aftermarket FPR as long as it's not a rising rate regulator [FMU]. You can also use your stock FPR. If you do opt for the aftermarket FPR, you should set it to STOCK fuel pressure and tune from there, while NOT jacking your fuel pressure to some ungodly value. As far as for fuel pump, I'd start with the stock pump. A stock pump should be able to provide ALL THE PRESSURE YOU NEED.

THANKS! your info should save me a chunk of change. I'll hold off on the fuel pump till I recover from all the upgrades I'm looking at.
