Smanager Keeps Locking Up

ITR STOCK Calibration.
P72
LS/VTEC 97 EK
So everything has went smooth with the S300 system until last night.
I would turn the key forward, Then I would start datalogging and start the car. It would datalog for about 5 seconds before the Smanager would just stop and the light on the s300 would be solid red.
So then I have to shut the car off and restart to make any changes in tune because the s300 wont stay active when the car is running anymore.
I have to do all my uploads when the ignition is turned forward, Not while its running. Sometimes the light on the S300 stays dead green when this happens also...and somtimes the S300 and Smanager work while the car is running.
Spunkster are you going to quote me this?: "If the datalogging stops at a certain rpm the cause is electrical interference, usually originating from the ignition system. Check that the spark plugs are resistor type and that either the distributor cap has a resistor or plug leads are resistor type."
Now that I think of it...My new distributor cap had a crack in it and I swapped it out with the LS distributor cap..Hmmm. The cap from the LS worked fine...But the cap that came off was for a 99-00 B16A2.
The plugs are NGK BKR7E, How do I know if the distributor has a resistor or if the plug leads are resistor type?
Very Obnoxious.
