S300 B16 Limited at 6000 rpm

Post by jspechatch87 »

I'm running a jdm B16A in an EG hatch with I/H/E and S300. Everything has worked fine until last night, when the motor would not rev past 6000-6500 rpm. retuned with three different stock calibrations, all with 8300+ redlines, same problem. runs great, VTEC and everything, until it hits what seems to be a rev limiter. 6000-6500 regardless of temp, throttle %, gear, or speed. Any Suggestions? going to swap out for my chipped P72 to see if problem persists.

OK so the problem is definitely in the Hondata ECU. Everything worked great with the P72. Anyone else have problems like this?

Make sure you have full throttle shifting disabled.
