busted ecu

Post by velocirapter »

just found out my stock ecu is busted, but my warrantee is void b/c the jackass who had my car before me tampered with it. So my question is, where can I find a good used OBD 1 ECU for a decent price? The best I can find is for $250, but it's on backorder. Any ideas?

P72 ECUs don't generally go for much less than that, they're in pretty high demand. If you've got a GSR and want to keep your intake runner control, you're best off sticking with a P72.

A Hondata setup can give you cheaper options for donor ECUs. This page will help you if you're interested. But that only matters to you if you'd planned on going Hondata anyway, otherwise a cheap ECU + Hondata is still going to be more expensive than a stock P72.

velocirapter - If you need an OBD1 GSR ECU, I have 2 available. 1 is bone stock, the other has been socketed, and converted for Hondata. All you need is your Hondata box, and that's it.
Yes, I'm a nOOb when it comes to HONDATA!
