When i'm running in Open Loop (O2 sensor correction off) I occasionally get a check engine light for the O2 sensor (error code #1 if I remember correct)..

Has any one else seen this?

Anybody know how to prevent this false error?

Yes ... I am getting the same error on occasion ... I figure after I get the maps tuned, and turn the closed loop back on .. I hope this error will no longer pop up.
I am not sure why it popping up ... but I am sure is has to do with the fact that the car is running in open loop by force. In other words, I have made the car run in open loop, when it should be running in closed loop, for tuning purposes or course.
