Check engine light problems

1997 Turbo Prelude with Hondata s200b P28 ECU
I got my car tuned back in May this year and after I did, I was experiencing problems with my check engine light. Usually when I am driving on the highway and take an exit, while Im slowing down with my foot on the brake the light will come on. Although there are other times it will come on randomly, the highway thing just happens a lot. I think it is the interface cable but it is hard to tell because sometimes when the check engine light comes on if I jiggle the cable a little bit it goes off. Sometimes when the check engine light does go off the red power light on the blue box is not on. I got a new interface cable when I first got the hondata back in 2006 because it was messed up. Is this a problem with my cable or hondata? Thanks!

You should try getting a new cable from a Hondata dealer.
