Hi! I have a k20a2 with skunk2 stage 2 cams with skunk2 springs and retainers and hondata.I put the option that makes the mil light flash when knock is detected, but i see it flashes alot.(I got about 4000 count of knock for like 30k not beating the car, only normal driving. But it mostly flashes when im going on the highway normal speed.I tried taking off about 20 degrees of timing editing all the tables but it did not change anything. I tried 15% fuel more but it did not change anything. So my question is, is it because the cams makes another engine sound for the knock sensor and this is why he keeps counting knocks.??Thanks for answering.I am a little disperate here...

Most likelly is the knock sensor going bad. Or you have some kind of vibration that the knock sensor is picking it up.

It may be valve train noise. You may need to adjust the valves.

i just try this out,i adjusted the valve .008 intake and .010 exhaust and i also cheked for loose bolts around, starter bolts alternator but i can't find anything.could it be a loose timing chain or something around that or is it just the aftermarket cams that makes a different vibration for the knock sensor.?

I forgot to mention that it only senses knock before 4000 rpm narrow throtle or wide throtle there is mostly no difference.Istill have about 150 knock count driving normaly.
